what we do
Creatives Around the World is a community in progress.
For the curious, the ambitious, and the quietly bold.
It began in 2020 with CATWalks — roundtables where founders, creatives, and thinkers exchanged ideas on what comes next.
Now, we’re building something broader.
A space for conversation, connection, and creative momentum.
If you're building, rethinking, or in between—you're in good company.
We move in three ways:
CONNECT: Salons & Pop-Ups
In-person gatherings in Boston & New York.
No panels. No pitches. Just conversation.
OBSERVE: The Almost Era Podcast
Weekly episodes on building a creative life in motion.
Ambition, identity, reinvention, and what “enough” looks like now.
DECODE: Substack Newsletter
Founder Vallabhi’s field reports: sharp takeaways from each episode, conversation starters for your next coffee walk, and quick scans of business, branding, and trends worth bookmarking.
brand
our brand identity and design elements have been painstakingly chosen and refined over time - color palette, typeface, tone and a unique design language in keeping with the disruptive, evolutionary and inclusive spirit of our community
dna
our dna is our spiritual centre of truth where we explore the underlying guiding principles behind our core mission - listening, speaking and consulting with “change-makers” to ideate operating models centered around the 3cs: creativity, connection & collaboration

founder
hi, I’m vallabhi — professional ice breaker, pattern hunter, and accidental media founder.
Curiosity showed up first. Ambition followed—sometimes marching, sometimes limping—through a string of “almosts” that felt a bit messy for LinkedIn. I’ve never been one for corporate ladders or job titles that need explaining. What I do have is range — across industries, across people — and a deep belief that the best ideas start with a good conversation.
In 2020, I opened a Zoom room to make sense of a world on pause. That became Creatives Around the World—now a growing network, a podcast (The Almost Era), and a series of live salons for people navigating ambition, identity, and creativity in real time.
I don’t have the answers, just sharper questions. Documenting the almosts!
